Fatou is a blessing to the foodie community in Freddy bringing us an exquisite Senegalese cuisine. I have tried so many of her delectable dishes which leave us craving for more. Her tchiep is so savory and colourful, probably the best I’ve had thus far. My personal faves would be her chicken Fatayas, lamb jollof and Mafé. Her meals are cooked with passion which you can see when you get the chance to chat with her. Love the new look of the cafe and the website which now offers local delivery. Keep up the great work Fatou ❤️

The dining room at Fatou’s is very comfortable and warming, physically and visually. She makes easy conversation and has a beautiful, giving soul. Her food tastes divine. I very much enjoyed her Senegalese chicken and rice dish, I think she called it “special rice,” but I have poor time remembering names. The salad was perfectly seasoned with some sort of vinaigrette, the rice had the right amount of savory flavor and density, the cutlery managed the juicy chicken better than even my home silverware, and it paired well with the iced tea I ordered crisp and cool…..
Great food! The jollof rice was deliciously spicy and full of flavour! I also loved the hibiscus and pineapple drink, like nothing I’ve ever had before. A gem!
